Fixture Analysis

Fixture analysis tables comprise individual fixture records and, where appropriate, links to the ship record. Analysis that is only concerned with totals numbers or commodities will present all recorded fixtures. Analysis that is dependent upon vessel size, includes only those fixtures that have been positively identified and linked to a specific ship.

Charterer analysis that gives average age shows all fixtures, but calculates average age for only those vessels positively identified for a particular fixture, and avergaes the age over fixtures with known vessels, not all fixtures. The number of ships on which the average is based is shown in parenthesis.

Around 85% of dry cargo fixtures and more than 95% of tanker fixtures are linked to the specific ship record.

Fixture record downloads and the Fixture Search will search all recorded fixtures.

Ship & Fleet Analysis

Ship record analysis includes all ship records recorded by Lloyd's Register - Fairplay. Newbuildings tables and orderbooks are based on confirmed orders only and do not include pending contracts.

The ship sales tables record the number of sales, thus a vessel being sold twice during the qualifying period would count as two sales, but if the vessel list was brought up, would appear only once.
